A big part of my life these past six years has been my involvement with the Appleton Area Jaycees. I am passionate towards helping our community and helping to build it into a better community for everyone and for my baby boy. This past weekend I was able to help take the lead on manning the Appleton Satellite center for the Cerebral Palsy telethon. This year, we collectively raised just over one million in funds to help go towards CP. In Appleton alone, we took pledges that amounted to just over $7000 in funds that contributed to this amazing event. I am so thankful for all the volunteers that were willing to sacrifice their time on a Sunday to answer phones and take pledges from our local community that just wants to help this cause!!! I love it so much and I’m so happy for these selfless people.
