Ashley & Brigham’s Beautiful Green Bay Wedding

So many amazing things to say about these two that I don’t even know where to begin. So I’ll start by sharing about the wedding day:)

It started off great as Ashley and her girls arrived at the hotel with stunning hair and makeup complete. Brigham and the guys arrived soon after. And we were there to receive them!! It’s always one of my favorite parts of the wedding day when I get to see them for the first time. Although you may have already started the wedding day and gotten your hair and makeup done, it really starts to sink in when your photographer arrives to start the official documenting of the beautiful day. And that’s an amazing feeling each time I say hello on the beginning of each wedding day. This was no different…big huge smiles from everyone and I just knew it was going to be the best day!!
Ashley and Brigham held there ceremony at the beautiful Green Bay Botanical Gardens. They had recently built a new addition and I was thrilled to see it and to photograph their wedding at that location. They choose to have a tree ceremony which I thought was absolutely beautiful! They planted the tree by adding soil and water together. After the wedding, they’ll plant it at their home and watch it grow as their love grows. Just perfect!!

The slightly insane part was that the gardens was fully booked that day. Last weekend for a big event plus four weddings, not to mention the additional wedding parties that were schedule to take photos there. It truly was a hit destination this day. But boy oh boy did we work some magic!! LOL. We were able to really navigate through everything and still come out the other side with images that doesn’t show the chaos of people everywhere, haha.
Funny story…there is a photo of the girls and it’s looks like they are all cheering and happy – but SURPRISE – they all did that silently!! Isn’t that amazing? There was another wedding ceremony happening just next to us. So to be respectful, we were super quiet and did all the photos in almost deafening silence. So quiet that we could hear the vows being read word for word of the other wedding. I have never been so proud of a wedding party this disciplined!! Ashley and Brig — you guys choose the best people to stand beside you!

The wedding day flew by for them. And I know this because it really flew for me too. I am so honored to know these two and document their beginning love story. Enjoy the images and love them up!!
