Good Morning Wisconsin!!! Today is a great day and even better, Capture Life Moments’ first installment of Better Know a Business. I can’t even take credit for this title. In commemoration of Comedian Stephen Colbert, I simply thought it would be a great name since I will no longer get to laugh at all his ridiculousness. So, without further ado, please welcome BLUE MOOM EMPORIUM!
I found myself wandering into this establishment in Downtown Appleton, for the purpose of hanging up a flyer to inform folks about the local Easter Egg Hunt held by The Appleton Area Jaycees. Luckily…this store was just WAY to charming for me to cut out of there quickly. Instead, my friend and Jaycee buddie…also named Colleen, decided to stick around and check out the goods. I am a sucker for coffee mugs…really, I am. I have a gazillion different ones all non matching and just all over in my cupboards completely unorganized and I love it.
Blue Moon Emporium has the sweetest people working there and were very helpful. So, not only did it feel like home being in the store, but then I saw this mug and completely fell in love with it. I couldn’t believe that with a single word within our awesome state of Wisconsin would make me feel so much! There were so many things in this store that can easily be treasured. Blue Moon Emporium has many handmade goods, upcycled accessories and of course, wisconsin themed clothing among multiple other goods. Blue Moon Emporium also carries work from local artists as well, from ceramics to throw pillows. They’ve even been featured as a Buzz store by The Post-Crescent in Appleton.
This is definitely a store with some feel good stuff and I’m so fortunate to have stumble upon this little shop:)
