Wow!! These ladies?!?!?! They rock! Lauren of The Flower Mill and Sheryl of Summer Lane Designs joined forces to bring Bloom: A Floral Workshop. This workshop was something that they dreamed up and really wanted to show that everyone with all skill levels could join in and create their own beautiful floral arrangement. I loved Laurens choice of florals…they smelled AMAZING and the colors were perfect for any person and any home. And seriously…the treats and snacks?!? Did you know that Sheryl is somewhat of a cupcake extraordinaire?! Because she made all those mini cupcakes and not only did they look fabulous, they tasted even better than their looks.
It didn’t take long before all the guests arrived for the workshop, excited and ready to learn and create. Lauren had already made an arrangement — so she deconstructed the whole arrangement and did a live demo with tips on how to create your own arrangement. She explained it with lots of detail and in a way that even I….a non-green thumb lady…could even understand. lol. I think everyone took all her teachings and molded their arrangements to their likings using her techniques and they all turned out so beautiful.
I’m so excited for what these two have planned next and can’t wait to partake next time!!
