Often, I hear folks ask me why I need to arrive two hours prior to the ceremony. Simple, in order to have time to capture not only your getting ready images with your closest friends, but to capture beautiful detail images for you. So, why are the details so important? You spend hours contemplating which shoes to buy. Sometimes, you might even buy 6 different pairs of shoes and try them all on before the wedding just to see which one speaks to you the most. Or maybe you ended up going to a dozen different salons and tried on over 50 wedding dresses till you finally found that perfect one. Or maybe you picked out those earrings special just with your Mom and you. And that cake and decor?! Don’t even get me started on how much effort, time and energy you put into selecting just the right design, items and decor to perfectly portray your wedding theme. All of these little things are things you spent so much time and energy into collecting and organizing just for your big day. So, I like to do you justice by capture all these little details and making sure that they don’t get forgotten. Because in the end, it’s all those little things put together that make your wedding come alive in it’s own singular voice! So, go ahead…be picky, change your mind on your shoes ten times, have two pairs of earrings to choose from etc. It’s your wedding day and it’s all the efforts of you and your loved ones. So don’t forget about the details.
