(clapping hands!!)
Yup..so happy to share with you all this wintery engagement session with Karl and Jessie. Having only conversed with Karl, I was nervous to meet Jessie! Yes…I really was. Karl was so sweet when he talked about her, and having known his family in the past, I wanted to make a great impression. And when this girl came to the shoot, she was all smiles and so SWEET and crazy brave!
It was so funny because Karl was the one that was super cold and all bundled up while Jessie was just rocking it in that gorgeous pink lace dress! We met up in the early winter morning and the clean beautiful light was perfect!! We walked around Green Isle Park in Green Bay before heading over to Fonferek Glen…which…one of these days I’ll say it correctly, haha.
From a marching band acquaintance introducing them years ago, they have found each other and it couldn’t be more perfect. We got to know each other, laugh, and shiver together! LOL. Karl proposed at The Cannery in Green Bay and that is now their favorite restaurant. And with how wonderful they spoke about the place, I literally can’t wait to go for the first time myself. A trip to the Cannery is in store for this girl!
Even though it was cold, as it seems to be in January in Wisconsin, haha, we got through the session with flying colors and Karl and Jessie got to warm up and have their entire day open to fun. I think that’s one of the things I love about morning sessions – is that afterward, you have the entire day ahead of you and you are feeling so wonderful that it just kicks your day into a positive spirit. We even got a little lucky and got some snowfall towards the end. It really was a great morning and I’m so happy for these two. Enjoy!
