As a story teller and photographer, I love sharing and writing about all the different stories I'm honored to learn about and document. From clients to personal journeys in life, to advice and interesting things I've learned; read along and follow as I document about what's happening and all the things I'm up to.
Can we just give a round of applause for how gorgeous Becky is?!?!?? When I first meet Becky and Tom, we hung out for a little bit at Starbucks and I knew right away that I was going to love her. She has got just as outgoing and talkative of a personality as I do and top it off with her genuine sweetness and kindness. She’s got two daughters that no doubt, have inherited her awesome genes.
Becky’s philosophy is to have a chill wedding day and relax as much as possible. It was the most free spirited, positive, and relaxed wedding day! It rained all day and she never mentioned a single word about it. We started off at Kohler Lodge with all the pretty details and the getting ready before heading over to Oneida Country Club. I’m so thankful to have meet Hillary Nick, the extrodinnarie wedding planner that helped put so many of these amazing pieces together for the wedding day. When we arrived, Hillary and Amy (at Oneida) was ready to rock and roll and had the place looking like a dream. It felt like it was no time at all and it was already time for Becky to take the walk down the isle.
They had a sweet ceremony followed by photos…outside…in the rain! Yikes!
I’m driving in the golf cart…rain pelting me in the face…trying my best to keep all my equipment as dry as possible and then Becky’s daughter says. “hey, you know your windshield is open?”. OMG how hilarious. I didn’t even think to put up! Wow…I clearly do NOT spend enough time in golf carts, haha. And of course, this happened as we were finishing and on our way back to the club for dinner.
The entire evening went so smoothly and then when I thought it couldn’t get any better…the desserts were put out and they were the “too pretty to eat” kind! haha. But, of course, they went flying off the platters the second I finished taking photos.
I’m so honored to have gotten a chance to know this couple and to document such a special day.
