One of my favorite pass times is eating. Which I know….I’m not the only one in that boat. Which is why when I saw that Tempest was adding this fresh number, I absolutely had to try it.
The Matcha Waffles were amazing. And you’d think it would be overpowering…the flavor of Matcha but it really wasn’t. It was a nice subtle flavor and the waffle was rich and moist. The syrup they placed on it was apple honey. It was SO good!! Although the flowers are edible, I honestly did not try them. LOL But they do make for some beautiful garnishes. I’m not sure how long they will have this menu item, so if it at all seems interesting, I’d suggest you bust over there soon. Below, I’m listing my all time favorite drink and menu item. I love the waffle sandwiches but there are just too many good menu items. So in an effort not to choose them all, I just picked the one I ordered most:)
