So…a couple weeks ago, I asked on Facebook if someone would kindly be my model for the evening so that I could test out my newest film camera. I was SO excited to use my medium format Pentax 645n and out of the blue, Mary here….messaged saying she was interested. It’s funny…as photographers, we rarely like being on the opposite end of the camera, but she decided to take a step out of her comfort zone and come pose for me:) I am SO glad that she did. Because seriously…if it was like a dating thing, I’m pretty sure we matched up perfectly!! I couldn’t believe how much we had in common and our conversations could literally span hours and hours if it were for all those other adult responsibilities that we have to attend to. Haha. Mary is the owner of Two Otters Photography and I love love love her personality and style. She is so genuine and sweet. And don’t let that sweetness fool you, she can be super tough and has an incredible story of strength and passion in her and all that she does and surrounds her life with. I am so happy to know her.

These are just a few of the digital files I had taken because I simply and too impatient to wait to see my film results. But rest assured, those will be coming once I get them back from my lab:)

We even spent some more time doing a handful of photos yesterday evening….more later in the week or next week on that. But here is one that she shot for me with me holding my beloved film camera that I used during out shoot.
