Mia and Josh’s Modern Green Bay Wedding

Following into family footsteps and attending school in Kansas City was where all the magic happened. Mia and Josh met in college and became the very couple that said their I Do’s this June day.

It started at rehearsal the day before the wedding. I was thrilled to meet Josh for the first time, as I’d just meet Mia earlier as she arrived into town before him. Both Mia and Josh’s parents were absolutely wonderful and same with their entire wedding party. Nearly every single one of their friends traveled quite a distance to be there to celebrate them. It’s no wonder they had a larger wedding crew!! Cause they have some pretty amazing and loyal friends that are willing to just about do anything for them.

When morning came, it was so easy going. I meet up with Mia at her parents home and we got to know all the ladies a bit more and photographed all the lovely details. I so loved Mia’s wedding dress!! It’s beautiful and came with an off the shoulder lace cape that was seriously to die for!! Once we all got dressed and ready to roll, it was time to meet up with Sash & Bow and Bud’s N Bloom at Oneida Golf and Country Club. We hopped on the trolley and away we went to awe at the fresh florals and have some girl time taking photos.

The Ceremony

Let me tell you what!! This has got to be one of the best things I’ve heard about a ceremony in a long time. The Priest said “The slower you walk, the Holier you look”! I just about died laughing. That’s one that I’m bookmarking for future use;) The ceremony was beautiful with a wonderful homily leading into the remainder of the marriage vows and all the goodness. Mia and Josh even had bubbles handed out to the guests on the way out of church and we had a huge bubble exit afterwards. How cool is that?!

The Reception

I really enjoy Oneida Golf and Country Club. They have some of the kindest staff members and have a beautiful space. Sash & Bow and Bud’s N Bloom did an absolutely breathtaking job with the florals and decor. Everything was overflowing with the freshest and most beautiful blooms. When the doors opened for the first time for Mia to see, she just knew that her vision would be perfectly executed; and it was!! We listened to some heartfelt speeches and watched two people in love have their first dance! Mia and her Dad broke out into a more upbeat dance and they certainly were having a great time. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much!! LOL.

The entire day was beautiful and everyone was sweet and kind. I so loved spending the day with these two and their families. I should have brought my dancing shoes because their guests really know how to fill a dance floor! Thank you so much Mia and Josh for allowing me to document your wedding.
