Can I just say how excited I am for these two!! I think that selfishly, the only thing I am bummed about, was that I didn’t get to photograph their engagement session too. Otherwise, Aycha and Drew’s wedding day went flawlessly and they were absolutely amazing to work with.

When I first got to Milwaukee, I met up with Aycha and the girls at Joy Salon. This is such a cute and perfect place. It was big enough to house all the girls but small enough to feel private without the hustle and bustle of non-wedding attendants getting services done. After some photos, chatting, and lots of laughing and witnessing these bridesmaids reminisce about people, relationships, each other and just life…I headed out to The Wisconson Club. I linked up with my associate photographer at The Wisconsin Club and we probably spent a solid 5 minutes just ooing and ahhing over Aycha’s dress. It was so beautiful and I just knew we had to do something special with it. So we headed outside and staged her dress perfectly!!!

Aycha and Drew had lots of family and friends that traveled from quite some distance to see them. And thus, they wanted to make sure they had ample time to share with those who came to celebrate with them. So, they partook on a first look with lots and lots of smiles and happiness just before the entire wedding party and them…headed out towards the lakefront for photos. Even though it was a bright day, the weather was wonderful with just the perfect temperature. We finished up having fun with photos and got everyone back with time to spare before the big “I Do”.

The Wisconsin Club is such a stunning location for an all in one wedding venue. It was really great to see these two get married and then hop over to the ballroom right next to the ceremony space and hang out in cocktail hour with their friends and family. The evening went just as smoothly and now, I’m just excited to share a little peek into their wedding day! Enjoy.
