Milwaukee Wedding Photography at Surg on the Water with Abby and Ryan
It started with a first date at Honeypie Cafe that turned into a hike at Kettle Moraine State Park that ended with a proposal.
Abby and Ryan have built their love story. They celebrated by inviting their friends and family into the fold of their wedding day. And also, to their future as they journey life together.
I remember meeting them for their engagement photos and thinking, wow…they are not only sweet and kind and patient…but holy cats do they LOVE each other. I knew from their proposal, that walking down a long path and grazing the beach front of Lake Michigan was perfect for them. They are ready for adventure and taking the path less traveled. (my kind of couple!!!) And I know that these values they take in their own activities and life will only help them grow and feed into a more beautiful marriage than they could imagine. This is only the beginning and it’s already so so beautiful.
The Wedding Day
When I arrived, I showed up a wee bit early so I could pop in to see the girls. I got to see them at the salon before heading to church. Despite rain in the forecast, Abby was well prepared both with umbrellas and mentally. She never once let the rain bother her and we totally just rolled with it!! After the “I Do’s”, we headed out to various locations for photos, with a pitstop at Surg on the Water for a break and to give mother nature some time to downpour…we make it back out for the rest of our photos and I think the rain decided to work on our schedule that day. (how cool!!) We barely had any issues with the rain and everything turned out beautiful!!
I hope you all loved taking a gander into Abby and Ryan’s Milwaukee wedding. Wishing them all the best and a life full of happiness and love.
