July was surprisingly such great weather for Gary and Diann to say I Do. These two are so cute and their families…just amazing! It truly is SUCH a small world. At this one wedding, I had 3 brides there!! Yes, THREE brides!! A few years back, I photographed a wedding with Aaron and Katelyn and come to find out…they were there as guests!! And then, of course…Katie and Kyle were there too. These are the two that got me in contact with Gary…so to speak. Gary and I met at Katie’s wedding in November and he asked me to take a photo of him and his girlfriend (at the time) with his film camera. And of course, that isn’t something I forget. So, when Gary proposed to Diann at a Packer game that winter, he called me up and I was more than honored to document their marriage celebration!
They held it over two days. Two short days I supposed, instead of one long day. On Friday, they had a very short and small ceremony in Neenah…actually just a mile from my house! Which was amazing! After the wedding ceremony, we took a handful of photos and then I let them enjoy some time and snacks with their family and friends. The following day, we meet up at Erb Park in Appleton and they were doing a big grill out as their wedding reception. It was pretty awesome. Very casual and everyone was just in shorts and tee-shirts and enjoying the park and the weather. They even had fun activities for the kids too!
I had a wonderful time with Gary and Diann and I wish them all the best int he world. It was meant to be when they were introduced by a friend. Who would have thought?! These two are adorable and I’m so happy to be so connected with them, their family and their friends. Thank you.
