Last night was the first of a 3-night webinar for the Spring Rising Tide Summit. In between taking care of my sick baby, attempting to do homework for my MBA class, and pouring myself a glass of wine…I was learning and listening to industry leaders!

First speaker of the night was Jasmine Star. Now let me just say…she is an inspiration! I have been following her work for the last 4 years now and I love her story, her journey, and her personality. And…of course…her crazy amazing talents! I can’t wait to take her words of inspiration and implement it into my own business and life! She dropped out of law school to tend to her family and then decided to take that crazy leap into Wedding Photography. And since then, she’s had challenge after challenge, success, and failures, and she’s learned and grown from it all. I’m am so honored to have gotten a chance to hear her speak!

Second speaker of the night was Kathryn Duckett of Creme Brands. OMG, my hand was getting so tired of taking notes from this ladyboss, that I ended up resorting to taking screen shots!! LOL. Wow, what a true eye opener about how I’ve been running my business and what I can do to really refine it!! I will be watching this portion over again in the replays!!

Third speaker and the one that truly spoke to me as a new mom, Jessica Turner. I am totally picking up her book now! She is an amazing ladyboss! She not only works a 9-5, but she runs her own business and has 3 children too! So, how does she do it all?!?! It’s amazing to listen to her story and listen to her share how to still take care of yourself with her short on the Fringe Hours. It was such a motivational segment as well. Not just for me, but for everyone! In those moments, when you haven’t had a shower in 3 days and your home looks like its been rocked by a hurricane, it’s okay to take time for yourself. It’s hard, but it’s okay. And she really makes it okay. She talks about how important it is to truly care and make time for yourself so that you can be a better you!

I am so thrilled for this, and although I have class this evening and won’t be able to watch the rising tide summit live today, I can’t wait to watch the replay and get my learn on!!!
