Wow….great Christmas gift this year to have this Wanderlust Romantic themed shoot published in Knotsvilla’s Blog!! So, excited to share the publication along with a few extra photos from the day! It was super exciting and I am so thrilled to have put this thing together.
People sometimes say….well….it’s “not real” so “whatever”. And that’s totally okay. The point of this shoot isn’t to be real, but rather to be an inspiration. So often, when you look at your wedding day and you start to gather up all the details, where do your find your wedding inspiration? Is it on wedding blogs, websites, pinterest etc? You can find inspiration in all those places. And I want to provide a place on inspiration too:)
Not only this, but your wedding vendors have SO much to offer!! They really do. And sometime when they are approached and asked to do something exactly like a photo they saw on pinterest, it takes away the ability of your hired vendor to do what they do best….to create! Putting on styled shoots like this gives everyone an opportunity to create something personal, unique, and special. Something that you look at and think, OMG I never thought to do that…that is SO cool!! Or…hey, I didn’t know I could find someone that provided that? haha. I love wedding websites and blogs and pinterest same as everyone else, but I don’t want to copycat everything, rather, I like to use those things as a benchmark and allow my vendors to take that inspiration and create something truly unimaginable. And as such, giving my vendors the creative freedom to ….well…create…. we put together this amazing shoot. And I’m so very thrilled to share it with everyone.

I feel so lucky to have been able to work with so many talented folks in our local community and support each other. Summer isn’t always a great time, but everyone managed to make it work and the results were wonderful. I want to thank all of my vendors and support team for being there, being flexible, and just plain out being great people to work with. I’m so excited for 2017 and have already started brainstorming the next styled shoot. Stay tuned to see and hear more as things move along!
