Where to even begin?! Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to my co-educator and amazing friend Elizabeth Haase. Not only is she an educator but she’s also an amazing hybrid photographer. That means, she takes beautiful photos on both digital formats and film formats. (how cool!) We also have another thing in common. We both lead a group of creative entrepreneurs within our respective areas called Tuesdays Together, an in-person meeting for the Rising Tide Society. Our focus is helping lift other creatives in the spirit of community over competition. As fellow moms, entrepreneurs, and local leaders; we have spent lots of late nights planning, brainstorming and discussing a better and brighter future for creatives.
It really didn’t come as a shock when we were talking one night about how we could help others and ended up planning a workshop from it. Elizabeth had been wanting to put together a workshop and I had been itching for another since my last collaborative workshop last year. (Kreativ Workshop) Before I knew it, we were both hard at work doing everything we could to launch the workshop and get it off the ground.
We know that the first few years starting a new business is incredibly difficult. So we really wanted to tailor this workshop for those just starting their businesses so that they could learn some of the root footwork that will help become a platform of which they can build their business. We started with looking at your business strategy and integrating finances. Then we focused on business branding followed up with content marketing. And of course…we took a pitstop for some lovely headshots too!
I loved educating small business owners and cannot wait for another installment of Establish: The Workshop.
