This past Saturday was the First Annual Art & Sole 5k. What a great event to start in the Green Bay Area. This run/walk was created so that folks could enjoy a breeze through the Arts District. There are so many talented local artist in the area and it really drives and builds such a great community to see such large creations of public art. The signs of Morty the Moose, Frida Kahlo, Graffiti mural and various bike sculptures. And this is not including the giant Green Bay Mural at the start line either. So many amazing things and the artists were even there to show support of the run and the arts as well. Although it rained during the 5k, attendance was still wonderful and everyone was in good spirits. Thank you for everyone that came to support and for allowing me to document the first of many for this event.

The lovely Mint Salon was present and they provided hair braiding and funky hair coloring for any of the runners as well…it was pretty sweet!
