Last night I was so honored to be presented with the Fox Cities Future 15 award!!! It is a complete honor to even be recognized next to some of the top young professionals in this community. I’m so thankful to have such great friends in my life. I wanted to say a huge thank you to Emilie Steinmann of Ooh Shiny Art Glass who is the lovely and amazing friend that nominated me in the first place!!! And as a surprise, my friend and fellow Jaycee Paul Schemerse (who recently aged out), attended to support me. Paul is the person that I first contacted when I wanted to get to know the Jaycees and learn how to become more involved in our Appleton Area community. Honestly, if it wasn’t for him, I would have never attended my first meeting, joined the board of directors and continued on many years of amazing service to our community. So much of my efforts with the Jaycees and recently with The Rising Tide Society is what really helped build my application when I finalized my process of becoming a Future 15 recipient. My husband was also in attendance and is my support! Alongside, I could not be happier to have some of my close friends attend with me. Alyssa and Shaunae  have been with me for the past year and some and the friendship that we’ve cultivated together and the amazing Kreativ Workshop that we’ve launched is something I am so proud to be a part of. These two have truly inspired me to do more, be more, and continue to keep on keeping on!! So happy that they celebrated with me at last nights awards ceremony and for cocktails afterward. I couldn’t be more happy with the people that have graced my life and the ones that leave impressions on me!!! So thankful and have a happy Friday everyone!!
