As a story teller and photographer, I love sharing and writing about all the different stories I'm honored to learn about and document. From clients to personal journeys in life, to advice and interesting things I've learned; read along and follow as I document about what's happening and all the things I'm up to.
Having come across this stunning dress in possibly one of my favorite shades of blue, I couldn’t help but rush into doing something creative to get my head back on track! Sometimes it takes doing something a little out of the ordinary to get my creative juices flowing again so that I can refresh and be super productive on my projects and really see things from another perspective. Doing impromptu creative portrait sessions like this really help break up the workload and assist in the mental block that can sometimes happen as a creative. It’s soothing to the soul, and allows a different kind of creative freedom not always granted on photo sessions.
My friend Anneliese is slowly recovering from a head injury and this was the perfect opportunity to do something fun and dress up as it’d been awhile. Actually, this was the first time she’d driven more than a few miles since her accident. She was so brave to stand in the snow and join me as I photographed her in this stunning dress. AJ really did an amazing job with her hair and makeup and she looked like Frozen meets Princess Jasmine, and hence —— #snowcountryjasmine was formed! It was a mini shoot but totally amazing and well worth the efforts. A great way to whine down on a Sunday afternoon!
