Green Lake Wedding Photographer | Karen and Jim

January 9, 2017

Karen wanted this wedding to be private and intimate. After losing her first love many years ago, it was by chance that she meet Jim and was lucky enough to get a second chance at love. There was a large winter storm on the day of their wedding which prevented a lot of their guests from being there, but they didn’t care. They just wanted everyone to be safe and knew that no matter what; their friends and family loved them and would support them through it all. Luckily we headed out a wee bit early to ensure that we didn’t miss anything. Although it was a condensed day, into only a few short hours, we were still able to hop out into the winter storm for some amazing winter snow photos!!!
Karen was so brave and I think for the first time, my bride would have preferred to stay out in the snow LONGER taking photos, lol. I loved it!!! It was like I got to be totally selfish and take lots of snowy pictures and they were totally okay with it.
Well…here’s to hoping for more fun (but safe) winter storms like this so that we can get back out there and take more fun wintery photos!!! Because these photos are what makes me love living in Wisconsin.
