Happy February | A Few Small Goals

February 1, 2016

Good morning…Happy Monday…and Happy February to everyone!!! Wow. Can you believe that a full month has already gone by in this new year? Crazy to think that we flew through that so quickly.

So, I’m sure there are many folks that had new year’s resolutions that decided…hey, well that didn’t work out so I’m trying again starting today. Haha. Well, that’d be me…sort of. I didn’t exactly have big resolutions or any for that matter since I wasn’t sure if I’d actually create any. So, instead, I’m just going to be talking about some small goals that I have for this year.

First small goal and probably the one I will have to try the absolute hardest on (as you can see from my picture)…is to limit my mug buying to TWO this year. LOL. I am obsessed with pretty cups, mugs, glassware of any kind. I love unique ones, artful ones, playful ones…just about anything. And I am such a sucker for them!! And I don’t even want anything to match, I just love getting new ones. So, firstly…to stop this addiction of mine, I’m limiting myself to only two this year. Let’s see if I make it:)

Second small goal of mine this year is to spend a bit more time on myself. Between running my business, volunteering, attending graduate school, being a wife and homemaker (haha…I’m a terrible homemaker) and raising my so awesome son; I find it hard to take time to be selfish. Thus, I will try to take up an invite with friends for cocktails every now and then, get myself a massage….at least semi-annually, go to a yoga class (at least a few times), and take little drives by myself:)

Third not so small goal of time and very important, is to be better! I really pride myself on providing great customer service to all my brides and clients and I want everyone to feel the love! So, this year, I want to just take a little extra step in each message, gift, email and phone call to really listen even more and provide the best experience to everyone.

So there we go. A few goals for me as I kick my February through December. Let’s just call January a test run shall we?

Cheers to making it through the first 31 days of the new year!
