Remember the old days of “pokes” on Facebook??? Oh yes….after a couple times of meeting, Kathleen “poked” Marty and here we are today.
So..I’m going to share their engagement story, because it is just WAY too cool and super fun not to share. Kathleen and Marty were in Texas where some of Kathleen’s family resides and they went out one day. Having family in the ballooning business, Marty got Kathleen up in a hot air balloon for a ride. Her step-brother set up the flight and follow on the ground with the crew. Little did she know that he was setting up a giant banner that read “Will you marry me?”. After taking a second look, Kathleen saw it and by the time she turned around….bam!!!….ring out and she said yes!!!
These two are adorable. For two people that are not used to showing affection publicly, it was awesome for me to photograph them and “make” them do all that lovey dovey stuff, hehe. We had a blast and Marty got a kick out of having Kathleen step on rocks to gain a little bit of height. It was quite adorable.
