Appleton Wedding Photographer: Rob and Celina

OMG, so I’ve been so very far behind on blogging my amazing weddings this year!!!! So happy to share this wedding! Rob and Celina have a special place in my heart because these two are not only the kindest and sweetest…but they were also my first wedding back after having my little guy. So, I will always remember their special day!

Rob and Celina live in Minnesota, so having to plan everything from 5 hours away was a tough one. Yet, Celina managed to do it so well! We were even afraid that we may not get a chance to meet up before the wedding, but luckily, we found some time to get together and meet up a month before the big day at All Seasons Coffee House.  We had a couple drinks, a cookie to snack on and chatted away. Celina and I had been conversing via email a ton throughout the year but when we meet up, we totally just clicked! I remember Celina saying that Rob had asked why we were meeting if all the details were set and we were already on the same page. LOL. Celina’s response was “just to talk”. Typical that guys don’t always understand that sometimes we just want that human connection:) I was so happy to have met them both. Rob was quiet when we first met…but WOW did that change on the wedding day! He was so much fun and his groomsmen were definitely entertaining!

Celina picked out a beautiful wedding gown from Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, MN. I fell in love with her dress as I was photographing it….and then!! And then…I had to do a double take once she put it on because wow…she totally nailed it! 

It wasn’t long after that the flowers arrived. Riverside Florist did a great job with them! I just love love love the pinks and purples with the white. I may also be a bit bias because wedding bouquets with pinks and shades of purple are my favorite:) Not that I don’t absolutely love other arrangements, but these colors just brighten my day no matter what.

Although it wasn’t the warmest summer day, it was very humid. We started taking photos and Celina was totally rocking it. Rob on the other hand…don’t get me wrong, he was rocking it too, but as Celina stated, I think we was ready to take his bride home;) It was SO very adorable. He was so sweet to her and so loving. It’s amazing. They had been together over 11 years and the way Rob looked at Celina, you’d think it was their first year together. They both just have chemistry together and were so very in love. 

Celina rocked it all the way to the end of photo time. And then…it was time for a break. She was such a trooper!! I’m so thankful for the day that I had with these two. We scooted onto the reception hall at Liberty Hall in Kimberly, where they arrange the largest and most yummylicious dessert bar with so many yummies and delicious cupcakes from Tamara’s The Cake Guru. All the beautiful decorations from the church and the hall were from Wedding Perfect. They did a great job decorating everything!

Their first dance was beautiful and they are so in love!! Many thanks to the wonderful DJ, Sound Dimensions for always having such great entertainment in store for Celina and Rob’s guests. 

All in all, just a great day for these two! I absolutely wish them all the best in marriage and know that they will continue to love each other more and more every day!
