Good afternoon and welcome to another installment of Better Know A Business. Today I’m so giddy to announce The Fire, Pottery, Mosaic & Glass Fusing Art Studio!!

SO…..BACHELORETTE PARTY IDEA!! Upon trying to find and organize a fun event for my own sister’s bachelorette party, I realized that…ummm….she doesn’t consume alcoholic beverages so doing a painting and wine night was probably out of the question. So, I  started looking into other events that we could do and that’s when a friend spoke about The Fire Art Studio in Downtown Appleton:)

Naturally, I was curious and had to go check it out. So, a trip was planned to The Fire. They have tons of raw pottery items just waiting for a lucky person to pick it up and paint it how they want. There were SO many items to choose from. I went with this cupcake stand. (because I like sweets & because it’s an excuse to buy more yummy cupcakes:)

I painted away at the piece of pottery and when I finished, I turned it in and waited my week (on pins and needles) to come back and pick up the finished product once The Fire fired it up! I’m so happy with the results and can not wait to go back and paint another piece I can call my own.

I’ve concluded that we are definitely doing this for our bachelorette party. All the girls and the bride herself will make our own unique cups that will say, “Bride” and “Bridesmaid” so that we can all have matching yet non-matching cups to drink out of when we are prepping the night before and morning of the wedding. Super fun and happy to share this idea if any ladies want to jump on board.

Fred, the owner and his wife are the sweetest people and they have a wonderful staff. There is no need to be an artist to design and paint a beautiful piece. Their staff does a great job of providing guidance and helping you see your inner artist. Overall, it’s a fantastic place not only for adults but especially for kids too.
