Oshkosh Wedding Photographer | Tina and Xeng’s Chic Oshkosh Wedding
FIRST LOOK: let me just say…probably by far one of the most memorable moments at Tina and Xeng’s wedding. Coming into their wedding day, I already knew that it would be special and different. Different in the BEST ways though. You see; Tina and Xeng remind me of my family. They are the first of their families to have a more “traditional” westernize wedding. And because of this, they really took so many things and made it truly their own. The first look was definitely one of them.
Knowing that they wanted to do a first look, they decided to do something a little different. With all her bridesmaids surrounding her, they all made a human and floral “wall” so that Xeng could walk right up to her and get the full “unveiling” experience of the woman that is about to become his forever. On the count a three, everyone disbursed leaving just Tina and her beautiful self for Xeng to be in awe of his bride to be. It was seriously so sweet and FUN!
We got very lucky, because moments after the first look, it start to rain. We snuck into some beautiful areas of the grounds at The Paine Art Center before heading to The Waters for family photos. The remaining photos were taken at The Waters before the ceremony and reception. It really ended up so beautiful!!
Travis and his entire team at Sweet N Easy Events helped make the day perfect. They planned for everything and anything and were always one step ahead to make for a smooth sailing day. I can honestly say, they were one of my favorites I’ve encountered in my 8 years in the wedding industry. From officiating the wedding, handling the florals and desserts, and all the setup…it was perfect!
After the “I Do’s” Tina did a wardrobe change and got into a more comfortable (dancing) type of dress and the rest of the night went on beautifully. They even had this adorable purple and shiny backdrop for folks to use as a photo center. And yes…people certainly used it and it was the perfect backdrop. Lots of sparkles and their wedding colors!!
I enjoyed this wedding so much. Tina and Xeng are the sweetest and most caring. They got to hear some words of advice from their parents and you can tell that the humbleness that resides in them must have rubbed off on the newlyweds. Their consideration for others puts a smile on my face. I am so so honored that of the many great photographers they had to choose from, that they selected me:) So thankful to have documented such a beautiful day for them.
