As fickle as the Wisconsin weather could be, it was absolutely perfect for what we needed on Jason and Kristina’s wedding day at Waubee Lodge.  Kristina and her family really pulled in a whole ton of efforts into the planning of this wedding day down to all the final details. All the bouquets and centerpieces where made for the tables and for all the girls. So much sweat and elbow grease went into all this and boy did it look beautiful!

The guys were doing awesome, just chillin in the cabin and enjoying themselves. It’s a good think it doesn’t take long for the men to get ready.

Meanwhile, Kristina’s Mom was steaming her dress and getting it bride ready! Can you believe that tiny Kristina is a mommy?! She was looking awesome and her dress was stunning on her!

Awww….always so fun and cute to see them together..but not totally together just yet. Jason was a good sport and just look at his smile!

After an intimate moments together, we jetted off to a nearby shady area to capture more images of everyone. Super cool wedding party. These guys really are great at sitting pretty for wedding photographs.

And then here come’s the Bride! I love love loved the sign. How stinkin’ adorable. Such a heartfelt ceremony. Body, mind and soul, you could just tell how much these two loved each other and just couldn’t wait to say I do.

My favorite part!! It’s always great when you plan for something…and then as luck would have it, it didn’t turn out, but the backup plan was WAY cooler! We hiked out to Slippery Rock, a good 20 min drive followed by a good 10-15 minute walk through bug infested woods…lol, but wow. Jason and Kristina rocked out in the middle of this hike on our way back to the vehicles and I admit, totally my favorite images of the day. It’s always the ones that we have to work for that turn out even better than you expect!

Desserts galore were waiting for us at the reception. Holy buckets of yummies, I didn’t know what to think. Not to mention the phenomenal dinner that led up to the even better dessert that I was SO stuffed I had to force a tiny bit. Kristina and Jason had jars up for votes so to speak. Whomever got the most monies donated was going to get cake in the face. Apparently, Kristina’s boss had an evil plot and decided that he was going to rig the entire thing and get as many people as possible to donate money into Kristina’s jar so that she’d get cake smashed in her face. Her poor daughter was SO sad when she saw all the dollars in Mommy’s jar. Poor girl! It was a crazy landslide. Kristina’s jar ended up having $79 MORE than Jason’s. Holy cats…that’s a lot of moola for cake in the face.

Kristina was a trooper and took it well. Although, Jason did keep in mind that he was smashing cake into his wife’s face and mother of his child, so I think that helped in that he didn’t smear it all over:)

A thunderstorm, some ridiculously heavy rain and super strong winds…..oh, and some hail too…and THIS is what happened after all that. (welcome to Wisconsin right?)

It ended up clearing up in a jiffy and we were able to take a stroll out on the dock for some beautiful images before the sun started to go down. I loved the mother/daughter pictures. They just make me melt….and makes me super want a daughter…..like right now! LOL.

All in all, such a great day and super awesome couple. Jason and Kristina, you guys totally rocked the day and rolled with every bump, turn and hail storm. You were such great troopers all day and had such an amazing time together. If this is a testament of your future, you guys are going to handle anything that life tosses your way. Many wishes for you both in your life together!
