Veterans Terrace Wedding Photographer

So overjoyed to have had this amazing opportunity to photograph these two! James and Katy met back in college. They were both working at Target at the time, and the first time James noticed Katy, she was pushing a huge row of carts in the pouring rain. Little did he know that would be is future wife and partner in life. So…..in hindsight, having this amazing woman step into his life, he choose to laugh and poke fun of her instead of being a gentleman and helping. LOL.

These two joined together at Veterans Terrace in Burlington, WI for a perfect afternoon wedding. With some slight alterations to the ceremony location, it ended up working out great and the weather turned up beautiful just in the knick of time.

OMG, Katy was stunning in her dress and I love how natural she was. It’s always amazing and inspiring  to see a bride’s reaction the moment they put on that dress. It’s like a huge wave of confidence fills their soul and nothing could bring them down. This was definitely the case for Katy. She was ready to rock and roll!

Katy had beautiful flowers. I loved the colors she choose. (probably because they were alumni colors;)

Thank you to all the ladies in the bridal party. For putting up with my demands and requests, I’m so thankful you all were so easy to work with. All your girls look fabulous!

Let’s not forget about our men…don’t worry, I didn’t. The guys were awesome. The coolest group that wasn’t afraid to get crazy. Many thanks for being so laid back and allowing us to really capture your personalities…even the silly ones.

Awww….one of my favorites. I love how playful Katy was here for me. I’m thrilled with how it turned out and am so glad that things turned out the way they did. Otherwise, I would have never been able to capture images like these for you.

 

Hands down, one of my favorite father daughter dances. I absolutely love both of your reactions and it truly extends to how your relationship is and how much dad loves his daughter!

Not going to lie here….this idea was brought to my attention quite some time ago on pinterest. I didn’t think anything of it, until I finally had an image that would actually work. Now, I see the pull to wanting this image and I’m glad I got one!

So many congrats to Katy and James. You guys truly rock and I’m so happy for you both. I know that life is going to be full of journeys, but you two will take them on together and conquer all! The best to you both!
