Only a couple months into my leadership position as Appleton’s Tuesdays Together group and I already am feeling so much love from our parent group, The Rising Tide Society.

The Rising Tide Society exists to be a beacon of unity and hope among creative entrepreneurs that live in the spirit of Community Over Competition. I am more than happy to be a part of this ever amazing group and an crazy nervous to speak as well!! Yikes!!

It was wonderful to visit Milwaukee yesterday as I hung out before my afternoon flight. The sun wasn’t quite up yet when I made my way into Milwaukee after dropping off my dear friend at the airport so that she could make her flight. With Appleton canceling all flights, it’s was crazy but we made it work!!

I drove down to the lakefront and stopped off at the Milwaukee Art Museum to enjoy the peace of the lights and darkness. I made my way to Colectivo and had myself an amazing cup of coffee before meeting up with my friend Ly. It was still early, so I knew I could take a nap on her couch, haha. Then, we went for breakfast at The Mad Rooster. It was SO yummy!! And come on…with a name like “The Mad Rooster”???? how could you not drive by that place and not want to eat there? haha.

Overall, I made it to the airport…totally stuffed from breakfast tacos. Had an amazing flight!!!! Flew with Southwest and the plan wasn’t full by any means so I had a row of three seats all to myself!!! I even laid across all three of the seats and put myself to sleep for the four hour flight. It was a wonderful flight. After I arrived at San Francisco, I decided to Lyft a ride to the hotel. OMG, am I not the luckiest?? I got the Lyft driver with the sweetest puppy named Mantle. She was so sweet and pretty sure she wanted to jump in back and hang out with me.

This week is going to be wonderful as we kick start the Rising Tide Leader’s Retreat at Honeybook headquarters in San Francisco. I’m so excited to meet everyone and to learn and grow together and be better leaders for our members. Stay tuned for more goodness as the week goes on!
