Milwaukee Engagement Photographer | Elena and Jesse

From a surprise proposal to their engagement session. I’m so glad that we got a chance to visit the very place Elena said “Yes”. On the day of the proposal, Jesse surprised Elena with a lunch out, which wasn’t out of the norm for him, so she was clueless. They had arrived early to the restaurant in Port Washington.

Jesse suggested going for a walk on such a beautiful day by the lake. And of course, like any proposal, things sometimes don’t always go to plan. Elena was hesitant and didn’t want to go for a walk. Knowing that he was going to pop the question, Jesse thought quick and convinced Elena to go for that walk. As they approached the location, he “said his thing” and then dropped down to a knee and proposed.

Another surprise was at lunch. (as if it couldn’t get better) Jesse had invited their close friends and both parents to join them in their celebration. It was a wonderful day and I’m so glad we got to go out to the water again. The difference? It was very cold and windy during our session. Elena was a trooper and let her hair fly and I absolutely love how it turned out.

Puppy joined us for a few images at the end while I got a chance to meet Elena’s parents. I’m so happy for these two!! Not only are they so in love and kind, but they remind me of my short self and my tall hubby. LOL. It’s refreshing to find someone like Elena that also has the challenge of wearing 4 in heels and that STILL not being tall enough, haha.
