How I freed up space on my phone

August 12, 2016

You know how frustrating it is when you go to take a photo on your cell phone and that nasty message shows up saying you don’t have enough storage on your device and must delete some images to make room? Yup…I hate that too.
So, here’s what I’ve discovered that has made my life so much easier and gives me WAY more room on my device. I

PRINTED

my cell phone pictures!! Yes, it’s that simple. I printed the images that I wanted to remember forever and dumped the rest, or I archived them to my computer in a folder that will probably never see the light of day. However, since I now have printed photos, I didn’t need to have them taking up all that space anymore on my phone.

I fell in love with an app called Social Print Studio. They are a small company based out of Sunny California. I totally understand that cell phone photos don’t have the quality of a professional photo, nor did I need it to. So, I ordered all my photos as “mini prints”. I love that they are mini prints because I frankly…take a ton of photos and really don’t want or need a thousand 4×6 prints that I have to figure out how to organize. Hence, I order the mini prints and then I buy these Instax/Polaroid albums on Amazon and I’m all set. These don’t take up a ton of space, yet they hold some of my most awesome and spontaneous memories. And yes…I have a LOT of photos of my son, haha.

So…FREE up space on your phone

Start printing your photos and then deleting or archiving your digitals so that you phone can be free from it’s hold of digital storage and you can save room for apps like Pokemon Go, or Podcasts or whatever else makes you happy.

Here is a peek at what I’ve done with my cell phone photos.

Happy Friday everyone!
