So many to look at today. And it’s because Missy and Alex were so wonderful to work with. I especially love that they incorporated so many details from their brewery. It’s my rule of thumb not to drink any alcoholic beverages — however….I totally had to try a glass (towards the end of the evening) and I gotta say…WOW…Noble Roots Brewing has some awesome beverages!!
But hey…let’s not forget why we are here, haha. Miss and Alex!!! When I first meet these two, they came to my office and sat down and were the most incredibly chill people. Then after our meeting, we scheduled the engagement session. Missy had her heart set on a sunflower field and so we did our very best to guess the “right” time to show up to the field and boy did we get lucky. It ended up being a perfect day and seriously…she looked like a goddess and killed it in her dress she wore. You’ve got to check out their Engagement Session if you’ve never seen it. It’s was my first time venturing into a field of sunflowers and it’s certainly not going to be my last.
On the wedding day, I walked into her church and immediately fell in love. The decor and light that beamed through the place was my idea of a light filled place one could only say their I Do’s in. So many beautiful places that we just had to take Missy’s dress out for a stroll and photograph her dress and details right in the entry area of the church. It could not have been any better than that.
Once all the details were complete and we settled up for the day, it was time for the big reveal. I loved Alex’s reaction and everything about their ceremony from the readings to the songs to the vows…was perfect. I’m so thrilled that even in January in Wisconsin, we all were able to hop outside for the wedding party photos and bride and groom portraits. With much luck, we headed out the back door of Lodge Kohler because the bus driver had to head out that way…and we found a great little gem of a place for photos and I couldn’t have been happier with that.
Onto the reception at Green Bay Distillery where they really made sure to add in so many pieces of their lives. The amazing candy bar was frequently visited I’ll say 🙂 And I wish I could invite you all to flashback with me to the speeches Missy’s sisters gave…you would have loved it!! Never had I ever seen an album that was written and sang by the maids of honor in such a way that was not only heartfelt but extremely entertaining!! Then they kicked of with Piano Fondue, a dueling pianos crew and my oh my…I LOVED this. Can everyone have these guys at their wedding?? haha
We ended the night with a signature evening photo and I’m so happy to say congratulations to these two. I can’t wait to visit Noble Roots often in the coming years and to bring my husband to try the one IPA that I actually enjoyed!
