Green Bay Wedding Photographer | Vanessa and Chad
Hehe…can I just say that I totally am in love with Vanessa and Chad!??! Maybe it’s because I’m a little bias, in that my husband towers over me as well, just like Chad does with Vanessa!!
When Vanessa first contacted me, I was surprised, as she and Chad did not reside in Wisconsin. I’m so thankful that they found me on Wedding Wire and were able to connect with me from there. She told me that they were planning their wedding in Wisconsin. They would be coming from Arizona….her family from Washington, and then his family in Wisconsin. So many folks all traveling. Not to mention her maid of honor or bridesmaid who was coming from New York?? Is that right? (sorry if I got this one wrong). Either way…lots of traveler! And, this wasn’t even the end of it. They also held a celebration a short month afterwards in Seattle for Vanessa’s family as well. I so wished I could have been there as well, but I can tell from the beautiful photos from Wallflower Photography. Check out their Website Here.
In September on a Friday, there we were….running around searching for a place to showcase Vanessa’s beautiful Luly Yang Gown. In this hallway in the hotel, it was blazing hot as there was no air conditioning and we struggled and sweated through to get some images of her beautiful dress before taking it outside for some fresh air:) I could have spent hours photographing her dress, lol AND her shoes…COME ON NOW!! Look at her shoes!!! For a girl that loves shoes, I just wanted to take these lovelies and give them a new home…my home, haha. I guess I’ll be searching for similar shoes now that I’ve seen hers:) But hey, she rocked those things and they were so perfect with the dress!! It’s no wonder she found them at Luly Yang’s boutique in Seattle.
Vanessa and Chad spend a bit of time seeing each other ahead of time and it was awesome. I think it made her walk down the isle even more important and beautiful!!! Vanessa held it together so so well..up till Chad took her hand and OMG, such a beautiful moment full of emotion and love! They had a beautiful ceremony followed by family photos. And I must say…having a later ceremony really helped us to have the absolutely perfect lighting conditions outside for family photos. Just breathtaking lighting. (a photographers dream and perfect time for capturing images).
Shortly afterwards, we scooted on downtown Green Bay to Three Three Five, a private dining studio for their reception. Their favorite drink is a moscow mule (yummy) so it was definitely a must have on their menu. It was so fun watching the bartenders create such beautiful drinks for all the guests. They had a little entrance and introduction followed by some speeches and then it was time to get your groove on! Gosh…I loved everything about their wedding day and I love love love that Vanessa shared with me recently that her and Chad are expecting a little boy!! OMG this makes me so much more bias again, as if I wasn’t already. But they are going to have a little guy soon. Having a little guy too just brings happiness to my soul and I could not be more happy for them. I can’t wait to see them again when they visit in the fall and hopefully we can catch some images of their little one too!!
Congrats times ten for these two for a beautiful marriage, wedding and their newest addition that will be joining them this summer:) Love it!!
