Neenah Wedding Photographer | Melissa and Brad

Melissa and Brad were meant to be from the very start. I remember when Melissa started seeing Brad and it was a quite relationship and then slowly grew louder and then all of a sudden, Melissa posted a “pick out the difference” photo on her facebook page. And of the items that were different…there was a shinny rock right on her ring finger! It was such a cute engagement announcement!

Melissa and I have known each other for a few years now through the Appleton Area Jaycees. We worked together on several community projects and she even did all the design work one year for our awesome Appleton Fireworks display. I was so humbled when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. I think she actually called me to tell me and ask me before she announced it on facebook…so I was pretty excited to know!

It seems like the weather forecasted everything. These two are most definitely the couple that makes lemonade out of lemons. The day they got engaged it was freezing…and then the day we went downtown Milwaukee for their engagement photos…freezing again. And then come wedding day, and of course, it was once again freezing. LOL. But they just roll with it and make the most of it and maintain their bright and happy selves because there is no better reason for happiness than with each other.

There was a short service at Doty Park in Neenah and then we checked out some nearby locations in downtown Neenah for some wonderful photos before heading back to The Whiting Boathouse to enjoy dinner and dancing. Thank goodness for the heaters and the bonfires! It really made it possible for all the guests to truly socialize with each other and enjoy their time at the celebration of Melissa and Brad’s wedding. I don’t think it could have gone any better. Everything was as it should be.

And of course, let’s not forget all the Jaycees!! (last picture) Love when we can all celebrate each others happiness! AND fellow Jayceer Rebecca…even made the cake pops!! How awesome is that?! Cheers and many happy years to come for the Warnings!
