Oshkosh Wedding Photographer | Katie and Kris

What a beautiful way for me so send off my 2015 wedding season with Katie and Kris. These two are adventurous souls that could not be more perfect for each other. I think I want to join Katie’s family!!! Her parents and brother love her so much and it really shows. We started the day at their church in Fond Du Lac and then hustle up to Oshkosh to quickly make it to The Paine Art Center and Gardens before they closed. The Paine makes such a wonder backdrop for some wedding images and is by far one of the most stellar spots for wedding photographer to capture photos in Oshkosh.

It was meant to be when Katie contacted me and asked to meet me. It just so happened that I would be taking corporate headshots in the very same building she worked in. Katie traveled a lot, so it was by chance she was in the office the week that I was there taking photos and we were able to meet up during her lunch hour. Not only did things pan out perfectly, we started planning the engagement session and again, we ended up making everything perfect as I was already going to be in the area again. So, we headed to devil’s lake and hiked about a mile into our gorgeous location for their photos. I knew right then….that Katie and Kris were going to be above and beyond what I expected because they were so willing to go with it and make that extra effort to get to an amazing place for photos. And they did just that on the wedding day. We flew through photos, knocked them out and fled to Oshkosh and boy did we get the timing just right!! About 20 minutes of time there and we make every second count and loved all the images!!!

Off to Becket’s in Oshkosh for the reception. Oh my do I love this place!! Becket’s is amazing because they turned their space there into a wonderful reception hall. And it once used to be the food court for the Oshkosh Mall….many many years ago. They did such a wonderful job with the place and just looks spectacular.

I’m so honored to have documented Katie and Kris’s big day and I loved helping design a custom wedding album for them to cherish forever!! So many years of happiness and love lie ahead for these two and it warms my heart to know that I got to be a little piece in their love story!
