Today I am feeling so absolutely grateful. One year ago today I gave birth to my baby boy and every day since then has been so amazing it’s indescribable. I look at my son and I am so incredibly thankful to have him in my life and overcome with absolute happiness.
I have a been around children my entire life from babysitting my little sisters to spending time with and watching all of my nieces and nephews grow up…..and boy do I have a lot of nieces and nephews!! But it wasn’t until I became a Mom myself that my heart just exploded. I love my son with all my heart and soul and then some. I wish there was a word to describe how I feel but there simply isn’t. And I’m glad that there isn’t a word to describe this otherwise I feel like people would overuse it and it would lose its meaning.
Today he turns 1 and already I’m not ready for him to become a big boy or all that comes with growing up. I miss the days when he was just a little guy…snuggling into my arms and sleeping soundly…ever so peaceful and content. Now, he just wants to run around and explore everything.
He is the most amazing thing that’s happened in my life asides his Dad:) today is a wonderful day!!
