FIRST month of 2017 and we get a crazy winter storm and ice covered roads! Oh yes, that is January for you. LOL. It didn’t matter though, because we still had a great meeting this month. With a smaller crew but more information to share between each other. And the more we learned about the history of The Reserve. What an amazing building in downtown Neenah. I can’t wait to go there again for another meeting later in the year.

This month we talked about Workflow and Organization. It’s amazing how many apps are out there to help someone with all of this. But it’s also way too overwhelming to see a ton of these apps and programs and then feel tempted to get every single one. And before you know it, you’ve got all these apps to help you stay organized and then you end up so unorganized because you have so many organization apps that you never do anything with them!! YUP…anyone else have that happen in 2016?? And now that it is 2017, I’ve learned to really be cautious about the apps I’m placing on my phone and really vetting them to see which ones I’ll actually use. Although there are so many useful ones, if I can’t see myself using it and consistently staying up to date, then there is no point in having it, except to remind me that I’m just not that cool. LOL.

So this year, one of the things I’m going to focus on is being extra productive and using my time wisely to accomplish the goals that I’ve set for myself. And with that, I will also need to better utilize the few apps that I’ve decided to keep. Two of which are Honeybook (my amazing communications platform) and Mile IQ. No more google mapping my drives every month:) I hope all of you readers have made agreements with yourself to be more productive and more organized this year. Let’s see what happens when it’s December 🙂 hehe
