Waupaca Wedding Photographer | Marian and Dan

This was such a lovely surprise wedding for me. I remember getting a message from Marian asking about wedding photography and when she told me her wedding date, I thought…wait, what?!?! As in less than two months from now? Haha. It was pretty funny. It all work out so well.

Marian and Dan had been battling a long distance relationship for awhile. With him living in Texas and her in Wisconsin, it was no wonder they were so madly in love with each other on their wedding day! I mean…come one, they spent over 90% of their relationship a thousand miles apart. Of course they would want to be next to each other and snuggling the entire day! They even share one of their limited days together on their engagement session during one of his visits up to Wisconsin to see her. These two and their devotion and love for each other is unreal. Such commitment in these too, you just know that they are compatible and meant for each other.

The ceremony was beautiful and you can just tell that every word touched them and help solidify their fate to be with each other. After the ceremony, we found some great locations on this incredibly cold October day, and we snagged some shots of these two lovelies and their wedding party. I think the boys really enjoyed themselves and found a playground to goof on in too:) The girls were just trying to be brave and bear the cold and the sand that would sneak into their heels. But they were so tough and wonderful!!!

On we went to The Waupaca Ale House for their reception. It was the last wedding for the Waupaca Ale House, as they were going to be taking down the heated tent and packing up for the winter hibernation. What a lovely place though!!! I think I would be on board for all Waupaca Weddings from here on out if it includes one beautiful tent set up on a hill overlooking a small body of water and the sun setting just over it’s shoulder. Who wouldn’t want that?!?!
