It’s happening! I just booked my flight and lodging for NOLA in January and can not wait to visit this city again! It will be almost 5 years since my last visit (way too long) and I am overdue. This city is full of life, adventure, mystery, diversity, amazing food and music to name a few.

What is the leaders retreat? Well, as a co-leader of the Appleton Tuesdays Together chapter; The co-founder, Rising Tide Society, and Honeybook are hosting a retreat for all the leaders that host monthly meetings for our local creative entrepreneurs to gather once a month covering an overarching topic in the spirit of community over competition. Phew!!! Say THAT all in one breath, ha! At this retreat we learn and grow from one another and share best practices on how to better serve our communities and our groups. Not only that, but we get to learn from fellow leaders on other pertinent industry topics and its amazing the group of leaders we have!!!

So in a city that is as open as open can be, I can’t wait to venture down south in the midst of winter and learn…grow….laugh…and build friendships. And who knows…there may be some photo sessions scheduled as well:) Yay!!!
