Oshkosh Wedding Photographer | Intimate Ceremony at The Paine

It was winter of 2015 when I first approached Jim asking him to help me with a styled winter wedding shoot at The Paine Art Center and Gardens. Jim, the owner of House of Flowers and Couture Events in Oshkosh, kindly agreed. I was so nervous. It had been my first attempt at organizing anything of this sort. Luckily, Jim was very open to it and provided me with beautiful florals and decor. It wasn’t soon after that we started a business relationship. Working with one another to help each other was just our thing.

With Jim being very involved in the wedding industry, I was completely honored that he asked me to document his wedding. He has an abundance of wedding photographers at his beck and call. Insanely thankful for him and Marcelo for inviting me to witness and document all the things. Of course, Jim would not have anything less than beautiful and perfect. And it was exactly so! From the elegant invites to towering florals and delicious desserts, he had it all. It also didn’t hurt it was at one of my all time favorite venues.

The Paine Art Center and Gardens also means so much to Jim. It was a no brainer for him to choose it as the place to say his vows and marry his best friend and life partner. I loved that it was an intimate ceremony with just a handful of close friends and family. Lots of tears and happiness and plain ole fun and chats. I don’t think there was ever a dull moment because everyone just immersed in all the beautiful energy of the day. And seriously…if my couples are willing to run in the snow and toss snowballs at each other, #winning!

So thankful to be a part of this day and I love these two so much! Many congrats Jim and Marcelo!!!
